SUDDENLY sequence settings wrong, greyed out

wrong setting shows 1280, should 1920, greyed out.

this means previous stuff looks correct, new additions

to timeline cropped. 

 

kindly advise.

a sequence's setting can't change... is.

 

create new sequence settings need,

then copy , paste clips old sequence.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
