Thread: Big problem installing linux

i cant seem install linux distro, ive tried: ubuntu,kubuntu,opensuse , mageia linux. both 32 , 64 bit. of time screen goes black , text says "no signal" after press "install linux" in cd boot menu. every time ive "try linux without installing" works. managed install (mageia linux 64bit) after rebooted stop after 1 second when see login screen ( cant move mouse or anything). strange problem because 2 seem different issues. here hardware:
ati radeon hd 5770
amd phenom ii x6 1055t
8192 ddr3
asus m4a87td
samsung hd103sj ata device (1000gb)
thankful if can since hate using windows , want linux asap )

have tried doing desktop when inside 'try without installing' option? worked me.
