Thread: can't install ubuntu via usb

i install several times ubuntu via usb
fail
if use usb-sata ports installer no live image found
if use usbports installer starts, iam not able use keyboard or mouse (even red led of mouse off)

figured out reason, after choose option in boot menu have voltage drop down on usb ports o.o keyboard , on can't work....
has idea?

i have not had first hand experience problem, did few hits. maybe help.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
