in terminal keep using ctrl + c , ctrl + v on accident. read in thread reserved else , want know if i'm doing dangerous hitting keys , reserved for?

ctl/shift+c (replace c v pasting). nothing dangerous has ever happened , never heard of them being reserved else in terminal.

same usual add shift key.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
