Thread: installation of texmaker in ubuntu 11.04

if run ./texmaker giving error

./texmaker: error while loading shared libraries: libtiff.so.3: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

if give whereis libtiff.so.3 giving,

libtiff.so:

don't know how deal soft links,kindly help...

might easier use .deb package install ?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
