Thread: Mouse wheel stuck controlling volume, can't scroll pages

hi,

i've installed xubuntu 10.10 on new computer. problem can't mouse wheel (usb wireless) act normally. it's stuck on controlling audio volume. think problem may somewhere in xfce4-volumed because when stop process scroller stops doing -- means can't use scroll webpages.

google searches don't seem bringing similar cases, have more of idea?

i've installed gnome , tried too, , problem affects me there. not sure if can alter thread title prefix accordingly.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
