have problem sound in ubuntu. installed yesterday , when tried watch video on youtube, video displayed there no voice(note: i've installed adobe flash player) .. of course no mp3(s) went .. i'm trying download vlc player there problem i'll seeing later.

thing .. want display fonts on web on windows .. is, tahoma , arial guess .. how can ??

did u "gstreamer" plugins installed?

if not please have @ page, contains of goodies want install after installing ubuntu

if use different ubuntu version can search google "ubuntu perfect desktop " type version ..

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
