Thread: System Monitor opens whenever pressing the Delete button.

thread opened in launchpad, no answer yet, wish try here well.

use ubuntu 10.04.
opened once system monitor in normal way: system > administration > system monitor, , since (i don't know why) opens after press delete button on keyboard. see no logic in it, since have done nothing in system monitor, anyways i'm not expert...

question how disable delete button opening system monitor? (it quite annoying)

tried add shortcut in system > preferences > keyboard shortcuts maybe confuse it, couldn't confuse computer @ end... plus i've found in search have done in google creating windows shortcut open "linux task manager" "system monitor" nicked there...

try removing , reinstalling system monitor

sudo apt-get remove gnome-system-monitor sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install gnome-system-monitor

removing , reinstalling system monitor can done through software center or synaptic.
