Thread: Two things I find annoying about Unity

hello,

i've been using ubuntu 5 years , i'm loving it. i've been using unity week , getting used it. there 2 things find highly annoying though.

first: when rightclick on icon in left panel there no option "always on top" anymore (something use extensively).

second: when click home folder opens , move folder on system. want open folder can drag-and-drop things around system. when click home folder second time though, doesn't open shows nautilus window had open already. cannot figure out how open window. there no right click on icon , "open nautilus window" or that.

have idea how can avoid these annoyances?

for first one, right-click on windows titlebar instead, you'll find window options (including "always on top") in popup menu.

...and second question, middle-clicking icon in launcher panel opens new window.

(it's possible edit launcher add things new window or shortcuts specific locations right-click menu, requires editing launcher file hand there isn't graphical tool purpose)
