Cannot add update 8.1.4 after adding update 8.1.3

please me if can. had reinstall acrobat 8 due windows reinstall. trying add updates , have gotten far 8.1.3. when try install 8.1.4, system seems tell me missing interem update. cannot find one. can tell me why having problem , if there missing update.

if check help>about acrobat, version number shown? did updates menu or download url?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
