Creative Cloud trial doesn't reset 'normal' Photoshop trial period

i'm trialing creative cloud. able install , activate 30-day trial period of photoshop on windows laptop. however, tried install photoshop on mac osx , when started said trial period had expired. may have been caused previous 'normal' (i.e. non-creative cloud) install of photoshop on machine last year.

the way see i'm trialing creative cloud service, not stand-alone photoshop version. why expired photoshop trial period linked photoshop creative cloud install? find weird version of photoshop installed on windows has not yet expired.

it looks though creative cloud offers 1 download software cloud, whole subscription model still looks standalone model. would expect 30 day trial of creative cloud service global, i.e. use software on platforms 30 days after first activation of creative cloud subscription.

is situation normal? know if trial on osx can reset?

is situation normal?

yes, is. trial can run once. doesn't matter licensing model used. no different if installed normal suite - ps still remain inaccessible because trial periad tied expired session , without actualyl buying products , serializing/ activating them, there no way use them afdter that.
