Help! Ideas for displaying ~100-300 still images with After Effects / Premiere Pro

hi, cadet @ air force detachment , responsible making semester's end of year video.

 

i have adobe creative cloud , familiar basics of photoshop, , premiere pro, , trying learn after effects.  have large amount of picture , video, , @ loss how make these pictures interesting slideshow.  software such cyberlink powerdirector had "photo grid" allow me create automatic slideshow of images on 3x3 grid, each image flashed place 1 @ time.  looking automated processes or tutorials feed images , have modern effect of displaying images.

 

if has idea template or start on handling large amount of still images in after effects or premiere pro, use point in right direction!
