(live) video Capture

hey,

i own sony hvr-hd1000e camcorder, use film sports events, basket ball games precise,

video written on macbook rather on tape..

the point able edit video right away @ end of game give both teams, refs etc etc..

i don't want film whole game.. , have capture it..  since take time game right.

is possible premiere pro cs5.5?

you need use adobe onlocation.  still part of pr , suites in cs5.5.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
