Network Location for HTTP Streaming

i have mapped network drive videos stored. using unc path, can stream via rtmp. however, when try use http streaming, videos play 1 second , error. in apache error log, says this:

 

[error] mod_jithttp [404]: [err=1] "c:\<my-unc-path>" not exist

 

it appears though adding "c:\" beginning of unc path. httpd.conf file must correct if @ least works split second. going on? driving me nuts after getting permissions setup right way. thanks!

can paste portion httpd.conf configure hds-vod? (under location directive hds-vod).

are using backslashes in path? try using forward slash

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
