Thread: Can't Resize a Window after Snapping it Left/Right. Why?

why not able resize window normal mouse after snap left or right dragging left/right edge of screen? i'm using 11.10. in advance!

functionally, don't think bad idea, technical reasons, believe snapped windows treated maximized, , can't resized. design decision made canonical , ubuntu developers, , system76 doesn't have in directly.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
