Thread: Evolution email failure

i need know how to:

(1)-turn off , disconnect evolution email client without losing therein (address books, sent files etc.);

(2)-transfer address books other email client (for example q.com) without ordeal of typing each entry hand;

(3)-accomplish change without infinite hassle of changing email address (if indeed possible).

(i posted earlier variant of question couple of months ago when evolution began failing, answers got useless did not acknowledge abysmal ignorance of relevant matters.)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
