acer travelmate 2300, lubuntu can't seem recognise wireless card, suggestions?

help.

this seems lot problem in when installed kubuntu 11.10 usb mouse in 1 of ports lost wlan0 , touchpad complaints symantic driver not installed.

have posted request around issue. had tried of common suggestions irq in grub option menu.

solution not install os mouse or other device in usb port. installer able find touch pad , wlan.

hope discover work around usb bus problem soon.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
