i'll cut right case, computer freezes mode in picture, when i've used computer longer period of time. me looks gpu and/or it's drivers? have no idea, really.

run natty kubuntu on fujitsu siemens li 1718.

yes, it's radeon gpu.

using radeon driver, or fglrx?

recommend searching forum "amilo li 1718" , see if can find needed tweaks. example, need "nomodeset" kernel boot option?
