Thread: Mouse and/or keyboard stops responding in Ubuntu 11.10


hi,

i've been having trouble ubuntu 11.10 recently, relating mouse , keyboard stopping responding. if has thoughts on problem may i'd grateful hear them?

symptoms

mouse stops responding:
can crtl-alt-del out of current session, login prompt, mouse , keyboard work fine.

or

keyboard stops responding:
mouse continues move, mouse clicks don't respond , keyboard not respond. have hard reset restore system.
