Thread: Nautilus Memory issue Ubuntu 11.10

i'm having issue nautilus accessing raid volume , other drives. have 2 examples.

here @ work have ubuntu 11.10 installed on 1 drive , windows on another. if mount windows drive system slows down , becomes unresponsive several minutes. noticed today.

@ home have ubuntu 11.10 installed on single drive , have raid 5 array ext4 mount needed. sort of nas internal. noticed nautilus became slower , slower when moving lots of files on array past few weeks has become unusable. system memory hits 100% , system becomes unresponsive several minutes. have checked raid drives healthy , clean, benchmarking etc.

i'm think i'm going reinstall 10.10 unless has answer fix problem.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
