Thread: Remote desktop from my linux box to a windows 7 home premium machine

hi all,

have friend using windows 7 home premium , needs remote every , then. extremely helpful able set remote desktop connection control computer.

i'm kind of lost options , after googling around seems me *home* editions of windows cannot controlled remote desktop..

case? options have?

lot in advance time

enabling rdp on non-supported editions possible, don't think kind of discussion allowed here. couple of minutes' googling give lot of links regarding that.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
