Thread: Time isn't showing in menu bar

i upgraded ubuntu 11.10 , time doesn't show in top menu bar. thing shows word "time" , if click it, see calendar , date. have settings set show time doesn't. i've attached screenshot. how show time? or date , time?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
