Timeline 2 rewind into Timeline 1

i have project have created consists of 2 timelines.

 

timeline 1 intended play end, link timeline 2 , continue playing.

 

i have set end action of timeline 1 timeline 2, , playing expected. 

 

what anticpating instance end-user viewing dvd, finishes playing timeline 1, continues playing timeline 2, , end-user presses rewind button, attempting go point before beginning of timeline 2.  end-user not aware there 2 timelines frustating them have restart beginning , fast-forward point previosly trying rewind to. 

 

there end action allows specify link when playback reaches end, seeking equivalent of when reverse reaches beginning.

there not way specify "prior action" wish. "previous" button on remote "previous chapter" (not previous timeline) , rewinding has same limitation.

 

encore not provide "scripting" might able achieve want.

 

the ordinary way have single timeline.

 

while provides no advantage (or disadvantage) current issue, alternative linking 1 timeline next use "playlist."

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
