Ebboks will not display on Windows 8 ( Have Kaspersky)

my ebooks not display on adobe digital 1.7 on windows 8 after 4 days of use   not use 2.0 windows 8

i see there known issues when using ade along kaspersky. see if below helps you, text in bold need try.

 

if using kaspersky firewall protection, may experience download problems. because kaspersky perceives adobe digital editions malware , blocks (this can happen windows® firewall well, rare). when start new application such adobe digital editions, kaspersky asks if want make trusted app or process, but  it  doesn't adobe digital editions. instead, must explicitly tell kaspersky add adobe digital editions manually trusted applications. rules need set adobe digital editions "do not scan network traffic."

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
