Get a gradient from InDesign into Photoshop

is there way gradient indesign cs6 photoshop cs6? know gradients handled differently in each, "swatches" in id, , "gradients" in ps, seems there must work around! "save swatch .ase file option works solid swatches. thanks!

i don't think there's "systemic" method convert indesign gradient photoshop preset.

 

afaik, can gradient-filled object ps, (presumably sampling or other manipulations applicable intent), , you'd exporting indesign in format honor or preserve whatever color management parameters might in play. seems obvious choice pdf, not it's simple.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
