when try run downloaded install flash player message host "certificate authentication failed" , program not run. current flash player ver 11.1.102.63 win xp 32, downloaded new ver 11.7.700.196. pc not wan run videos on existing version

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
