I was installing the latest version of Flash player for IE.

i received error message said script error saying object expected.  have latest version google chrome can't internet explorer updated latest version.  help!

use offline installer http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#mai n-pars_header (under heading progress bar hangs...).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
