Illustrator CS6 only using 13% of cpu

currently using throttlestop overclock i7-2600 turbo state , setting priority of illustrator realtime , affinity first 4 cores. also, system has 16gb of ram installed , set raid 0 on 2 250gb 7200 rpm hdd's. during stressful tasks cpu usage never goes past 13-14%, half of 1 core. system idle except 1% in use various system tasks. there reason why illustrator throttling itself?

most operations in ai single-threaded, partly due legacy, partly inherent in underlying linear math. unless massively rewritten @ core, there's no way change of , people might not @ make difference , show complex documents , operations...
