merge pdf files

i have adobe x , want merge 2 pdf files. follow instructions, tools menu doesnt allow me so...

how merge files 1 pdf:

  1. select file > create > combine files single pdf.
  2. click add files , select files want add.
  3. click, drag, , drop reorder files , pages. double-click on file expand , rearrange individual pages. press delete key remove unwanted content.
  4. when finished arranging files, click combine files.
  5. select file > save > pdf.
  6. name pdf file , click save

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
