Photos look compressed when imported into Photoshop Elements 11.

my photos compressed when import them photoshop elements 11. edges jagged within photo - cannot figure out how import them original crisp, sharp image!

your images not "imported" pse. reside on disk wherever put them.

are trying print these images? steps using work on them?

please provide more information.

it if post representative picture at. can via camera icon in reply box. can not via e-mail, however.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
