Thread: 11.10 64 bit: touchpad does NOT work by default

googling around, found had add following in /etc/rc.local:

modprobe -r psmouse
modprobe psmouse proto=imps

as of today, touchpad working fine , don't have use usb mouse. apply new patches everyday, , last time tried live without usb mouse around mon / tue, new patches in last 5 days resolved problem.

whoever developed bug-fix, thank you!

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
