Thread: battery problem with suspend

hi. hp dv7t, u11.10, gnome 3

having problem power management on laptop. when resume suspend, regardless of how power has left, thinks battery die, , shuts down or hibernates. has lot of trouble guessing how time left otherwise (can @ 99% battery life , 15 minutes when live ~3 hours) particularly bad when resume suspend. literally cannot resume without computer plugged in or shut down. suggestions? thanks!

mine pops window says power low. not sure how fix this. have seen people have same problem, hope people can fix it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
