Thread: booting 11.04 from grub4dos

i have dualboot situation xp , ubu 11.04; originally, used grub2 bootup menu.
various reasons, installed grub4dos mbr. can't figure out menu.lst entry
should boot 11.04 grub4dos menu. can still boot ubu using grub2 on
ubcd rescue image, tedious. in earlier ubu's,using old grub, straightforward
copy menu.lst grub in linux, grub2 doesn't use menu.lst, uses grub.cfg.
know how this? tnx,carbquick.

grub4dos looks menu.lst file. so, need create 1 in same style of legacy grub menu.lst file.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
