Thread: how make empathy show correct user status ?

in empathy in ubuntu 11.10 updates installed empathy not show yahoo messenger user status logged in mobile ( mean sms , not 3g), while yahoo messenger in windows 7 shows clearly. there work around functionality. having difficulty in figuring out if user online or logged in mobile (sms) . there alternative other default empathy in ubuntu can show status ?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
