Thread: How to install some [desktop menu] templates

when right-click on empty ubuntu desktop, pop-up menu appears on which, among other things, item "create new document" appears. when position cursor on item on menu, side-menu opens 2 items. (from top bottom) "no templates installed" , "empty document" . first item "ghosted" or grey.
