folks-
new ubuntu. attempting install v11.10 windows app under vista/sp2. sucessfully download wubi.exe , launch it. runs fine @ end displays window informing me there error , telling me @ log file in \user\...\appdata\local\temp\ folder. no log file there. folder empty. search c: disk wubi , still find no log file anywhere. experience problem of nature? suggestions/advice appreciated. thanks.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
