Thread: New Live CD burn for XP and Virtual Drives

hi,

new ubuntu, have live cd , have booted successfully.

find if switch hard drive c: (i can explore c: , virtual drive f:, under "/media".

cd drive e:.

on drive c:, have 3 virtual drives [besides f: .... there virtual drives d: , g:]
not seem able find second 2 virtual drives d: , g: ubuntu !

ubuntu "sees" usb drive "h:" fine.

under "media" 1 ...... , happens first virtual drive letter c: [ f: drive]

thoughts?

p.s.
me ubuntu calling first virtual drive media mountable drive. not mountable drive logical drive, virtual drive.
ubuntu should see , other partitions of hard drive (only 1 hard drive on computer).
ubuntu should see in case c: (active partition) , d: , f: , g: individual drives not image files!

though extremely familiar command line in windows, not in ubuntu.

looking me though there reasons ubuntu not see other drives, may hard me troubleshoot or fix on own.

command lines suggest begin troubleshoot in terminal ?
