Thread: x121e AMD - card reader not recognized

hi,

have xubuntu 11.10 installed on leneovo x121e amd based, 3051-5qg , works except integrated card reader.

wonders me is not listed in lspci, comparing output this one card reader device pci 03:00.0 missing.

double checked bios settings (card reader enabled, upgraded latest bios, factory reset of bios), tried , without sd card inserted during boot, no change ... card reader not detected.

clues? or hardware issue?

what kernel version in xubuntu 11.10? might try googling 10ec:5209, displays numerous bug reports.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
