Trouble installing Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.

recently purchased 10 (download) licenses adobe acrobat pro 11.  during install, we're getting following error - "adobe reader cannot open acrobat pro 11 because not either not supported file or because file has been damaged".  we've updated our reader current version, still getting error message  how can fix problem, can use program?

uninistall adobe reader, run cleaner (http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html), restart computer , install acrobat pro.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
