Activating CS1 Products

after activation server went down in december 2012, this page popped up, indicating still possible activate older adobe products without activation server. page mentions cs2 "or older products" can't find, life of me, find link activate cs1 products. not have serial number cs2, cs1, "adobe photoshop cs" or "adobe photoshop 8."

can still use serial number activate photoshop?

i not think cs 1 used activation. on mac not. think photoshop on mac required activation in cs2.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
