Is the Captivate cpdt file compatible between version 5, 5.5 and 6?

hi, want create captivate design file have different captivate versions within our company. cpdt file compatible between version 5, 5.5 , 6?

sorry, have terrible news. captivate files have never been backward compatible. may open older files newer versions. once touch file using newer version older version won't able understand it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
