Premiere 11 won't allow me to export...

so i've finished editing , adding soundtrack video, won't let me export [file] , won't let me upload directly premier, loads 99% , says there's error... don't know do, or i'm doing wrong... have windows 8, don't think has it...

what error message?

 

the classical questions...do have latest version of quicktime installed on windows 8 64 bit computer , running premiere elements 11 user account administrative privileges?

 

assuming yes,

 

a. also, properties of source media? has program or selected project preset project? duration of timeline content?

 

b. have used - + slider of timeline expand contents there can inspect timeline content slivers left on deletes or timeline content maneuvers, transition placement, etc? slivers typically present thin vertical black lines scattered video tracks?

 

c. specifics of exports have tried...publish+share/computer/??, publish+share/online/?? other?

 

but description of error message starting point.

 

just now. can decide next based on these initial replies. have started explore making copy of present project , taking apart progressively in search of offending component (s) of timeline?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
