Thread: 64 or 32?

i know may sound stupid question, don't remember there being 64 bit ubuntu last time used it.. right i'm using win 7 pro 64 bit, (3.0 ghz intel core 2 duo, 3gb ram) , when went download ubuntu gave me choice of 32bit , 64bit... know linux , windows different... should download 32 bit, or 64? added specs incase needed.

i'd if have 64 bit capable machine , have, 64 bit way go.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
