Thread: Can't get IP Masquarading working

hello.

i'm attempting setup home network such can remote home box when i'm out. i've setup router appropriate port forwarding can't seem past firewall.

i've followed firewall tutorial here, i'm still getting blocked when attempt ssh box. see blocking occurring such in log:

when allow 208.54.40.226 can ssh in fine know it's getting @ least far can't find i'm missing.

i not see allowing port 22 in input chains (maybe missed it).
once working have hackers beating upon system, perhaps review this thread and embedded links.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
