Thread: Can't restart network

hey guys. edited /etc/networking/interfaces , added 1 more ip address. couldn't restart network. when type sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart, error appears... know how fix this? please , thank you

* running /etc/init.d/networking restart deprecated because may not enable again interfaces
* reconfiguring network interfaces...
siocsifaddr: no such device
eth0: error while getting interface flags: no such device
siocsifnetmask: no such device
siocsifbrdaddr: no such device
eth0: error while getting interface flags: no such device
eth0: error while getting interface flags: no such device
failed bring eth0.

in few words, believe telling can't start eth0 automatically you've directed in /etc/network/interfaces, because there no eth0.

code:
ifconfig
