digikam 2.1 wouldn't import camera, work otherwise.

updated digikam 2.4.1 ppa found in thread.

digikam crashes on start up. in terminal error.
code:
qsqldatabaseprivate::removedatabase: connection 'connectiontest' still in use, queries cease work.  digikam: symbol lookup error: digikam: undefined symbol: _zn4kipi21imagecollectionsharedd2ev
i've used digikam in past, won't import camera since upgraded several months ago. suggestions on how fix now? wait next update?

looks digikam 2.2.5.0 out oneric. has installed this? thinking trying out.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
