Thread: Keyboard Power Button Not Recognized

i have usb remote, it’s mouse , keyboard in 1 device. works fine in windows ubuntu doesn’t respond pressing power key. power key should have identical function power button on chassis.

it’s home theater pc (htpc) want able suspend , resume pressing power button. ideas how make power button work in linux?

doesn't have keyboard power button?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
