Thread: My Fujitsu t4215's touchpad disappeared

i running ubuntu 11.10 , started fujitsu t4215 find touchpad , touchpad mouse buttons not responding. hadn't done settings of device figured needed restart (which has cured odd little problems before). after restarted still had problem, stylus working used check stuff.

when pull xinput list touchpad not listed anymore. not understand how have disappeared or how make come life. had similar problem when first upgraded 11.04 11.10 , ended having clean install fix issue. not want reformat computer, pretty big issue me.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
