hi,

trying upgrade company desktop ubuntu 9.04 ubuntu 11.10.

however, run until half way electric breakdown.

when reboot computer again. installation incomplete , files seem gone.

when click install ubuntu, shown there no detected operating system.

should do?

you have choose long way of upgrade journey .well first insert live cd , boot live mode , take important data up.

try install ubuntu again. think system broken.

remember every time if you're doing upgrade please take imp data backup.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
