Why is the latest version of Adobe Reader not being made available on my Windows Vista computer?

i want download free version of adobe acrobat reader xi, however, when click download botton takes me adobe reader x(10.1.4). trying download government doc. , interactative support dept. gov. tells me need version xi.

 

please advise me of how accomplish task.

well, system on? if takes reader x, means download page thinks on system old support reader xi based on info receives browser. in case there nothing can - if download acro xi, wouldn't install , run.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
